Crochet, Crafts and Coffee
For Adults and Seniors
Calling all artistic adults! Join Parker Memorial Library at 3:00 PM on Thursdays, April 9th through April 30th for Crochet, Crafts, and Coffee. Seniors and Adults are welcome to bring their own crochet or craft projects and chat with friends while enjoying an afternoon cup of coffee. Assorted craft materials like yarn and project ideas will be available to participants.
April Book Sale
For All Ages
The Parker Memorial Library will be having an April Book Sale Monday, April 13 – Saturday, April 25th during library hours. This book sale will feature books about growing, gardening, and outdoor living. Browse our selection of spring-themed books and our book room for fresh ideas for the new season. Call for mmore info.
Beaded Windchimes Craft
For Teens and Adults
Join Parker Memorial Library for a Beaded Windchime Craft at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 27th. Teens and adults will have the opportunity to craft their own windchime using materials provided by the library. Call to sign up.
Let’s Talk About It Book Discussion
For Murray County Residents
Murray County residents are invited to join Davis Public Library and Parker Memorial Library for their Let’s Talk About It book discussion featuring abridged versions of Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein” and Robin Cook’s “Mutation” at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 28th at the Davis Public Library. Dr. Ken Hada will serve as the evening’s scholar. Signing up is encouraged. Call to sign up.
3D Printing Class
For Kids and Teens
Witness the magic in action and master the basics of 3D printing at the Parker Memorial Library. Join us at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, April 29th for 3D Printing Class with instructor Jonathan Edwards. Signing up is required.
No Fuss Minimal Mess Cooking Class
For Teens and Adults
Join Parker Memorial Library at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 4th for No Fuss, Minimal Mess, a cooking class that walks participants through how to make an easy meal on a busy day. Instructor Debbie Sharp of the OSU Extension Office will teach adults and teens how to create a delicious and nutritious meal, all while using a single sheet pan to cook. The class will take place at the OSU Extension Office Kitchen (3490 Highway 7 West, Sulphur, OK). Call to sign up today!
Booked on a Thursday Book Club

Join Parker Memorial Library for “Booked on a Thursday” Book Club at 5:30 PM on Thursday, May 21st. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month's book selection is “The Women” by Kristin Hannah. Call to sign up.

Get ready to energize your spring with an exciting yoga experience at Parker Memorial Library! Join us on Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 AM to learn the basics of yoga led by instructor Angela Deen. Classes will run from March 23rd to May 22nd. Attendees, ages 18 and up, are encouraged to call and sign up.
No-Floor Yoga Classes
For Ages 18 and Up
Looking for a gentle way to support your heart, mind, and joints? Join Parker Memorial Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM with instructor Angela Deen in no-floor yoga classes. From April 7th – April 30th, these classes allow seniors to experience the benefits of yoga: strength, flexibility, and well-being without using the traditional yoga mat. Call to sign up.
Toddler Time
For Ages 3 Years and Younger
Looking for the perfect activity for your young child? Beginning at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 13th, Parker Memorial Library will be hosting Toddler for children ages 3 and younger. Children and their families will sing songs, listen to a story and do a fun craft. Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun! This activity will continue weekly until Tuesday, June 30th.
1,000 Books before Kindergarten
For Ages 4 and Younger
It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and get rewards.
