For Kids of All Ages
Get ready for a roaring good time at Parker Memorial Library! Join us at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 3rd, for our dinosaur tracks and snacks cooking class, where young chefs will create tasty treats inspired by prehistoric times. Children will have a blast making dinosaur tracks, fossil cups, and dinosaur trail snack mix. All materials are provided by the library, so just bring your creativity and appetite! Call to sign up.
SRP Performers
For All Ages
Summer Reading Programming opens at Parker Memorial Library this June and July! Featuring the theme “Unearth A Story” the annual SRP will host the following performers at 11:00 AM every Thursday. Call for more information.
For Ages 18 and Up
Join us on Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 AM to learn the basics of yoga led by instructor Angela Deen. Classes will run from June 5th – June 29th. This set of yoga classes offer participants the opportunity to take a break from the heat and experience yoga in the A/C. Summer is a perfect time to experience the benefits of yoga for both mind and body. Yoga is an accessible and gentle way to start or enhance a fitness journey. Call to sign up.

Embark on a prehistoric adventure at the Parker Memorial Library’s Dinosaur Discovery Day! Join us at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 10th for hands-on fun and fascinating facts. Children are invited to learn how dinosaur bones become fossils, investigate the mysteries of dinosaur eggs, and uncover hidden stories in dinosaur teeth. This engaging program is brought to you by the Sam Noble Museum’s Discovery Kit, “Discovering Dinosaurs.” Call to sign up.
Boney Macaroni
For Children of All Ages
Unleash your creativity and build your own boney macaroni creations at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17th at Parker Memorial Library. Children are invited to make prehistoric creatures using paper, pasta, glue, and a variety of dinosaur images and stencils all provided by the library. Call to sign up.
Air Dried Fossils & Dinosaur Coprolite Class
For Children of All Ages
Join Parker Memorial Library at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24th, for a hands-on fossil-making and dinosaur coprolite craft class. Children of all ages are invited to mix their own salt dough and air-dry clay to craft unique fossil and coprolite creations. All materials will be provided by the library. Call to sign up.

Join others at the Parker Memorial Library for Booked on a Thursday Book Club at 5:30 PM, Thursday, June 25th. Conversation, fellowship, and refreshments will be centered on popular book titles for adults to discuss. This month’s book, “A Walk in the Woods” by Bill Bryson, will be discussed. Call to sign up.
Erupting Dinosaur Extinction Slime Class

Join in the patriotic fun at Parker Memorial Library! Celebrate America's 250th Birthday Party from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, July 3rd. Toddler Time
For Ages 3 Years and Younger
Looking for the perfect activity for your young child? Beginning at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 13th, Parker Memorial Library will be hosting Toddler for children ages 3 and younger. Children and their families will sing songs, listen to a story and do a fun craft. Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun! This activity will continue weekly until Tuesday, June 30th.
1,000 Books before Kindergarten
For Ages 4 and Younger
It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and get rewards.
