Events and Resources
Teen Technology Lab
For Ages 13 and Up
Join Parker Memorial Library for Teen Technology Lab from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Thursdays, beginning October 1st and continuing through November 19th. This time will be set aside for teens to access the library’s extensive collection of technology, including an H2C 3D printer, 3D pens, a music synthesizer, an Ableton Groove Box, and a digital art station.
Healthy Habits: Jump Rope & Snack Classes
For Ages 4 to 12
Parker Memorial Library invites children ages 4 - 12 to participate in a series of fun and educational Jump Rope and Healthy Snack classes held every Saturday at 1:00 PM throughout October. Beginning October 10th and running through October 31st, these sessions will offer kids the chance to learn and practice jump rope skills, games, and songs, all while enjoying nutritious snacks. Booked on a Thursday Book Club
For Ages 18 and Up
Join Parker Memorial Library for Booked on a Thursday Book Club at 5:30 PM on Thursday, October 22nd. Light refreshments will be provided, and spirited discussion encouraged. This month’s book will be Robert Dugoni’s “The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell”. Call to sign up.
3D Printing Class
For All Ages
Discover the fascinating world of 3D printing! Witness the magic in action and master the basics of 3D printing with the H2C Bambu printer at the Parker Memorial Library. Join us at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, November 10th for a 3D Printing Class with instructor Jonathan Edwards. Call to sign up.
Booked on a Thursday Book Club

Join Parker Memorial Library for Booked on a Thursday Book Club at 5:30 PM on Thursday, December 3rd. Light refreshments will be provided, and spirited discussion encouraged. This month’s book will be Alison Espach’s “The Wedding People”. Call to sign up.
Toddler Time
For Ages 0 to 3
Beginning at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 15th, Parker Memorial Library will be hosting Toddler Time for children ages 3 and younger. Children and their families will sing songs, listen to a story, and do a fun craft. Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun! This activity will continue weekly until Tuesday, November 17th. Free and open to the public.
1,000 Books before Kindergarten
For Ages 4 and Younger
It's easy! One day, one book. Help your child get ready. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your little one starts kindergarten. Sign up your baby, toddler, or preschooler, and get rewards.
